  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) is seeking community support for its mascot, Boomer T. Cannoneer, in the State University of New York (SUNY) "Mascot Madness" competition which will determine New York State's favorite SUNY mascot. Voting begins March 22, 2022. Contest wraps up in mid-April.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) group "Voices for Social Change" will host a forum about the War in Ukraine on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. live in-person in Sturtz Theater and virtually via Zoom. All are welcome to attend.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold its annual spring Open House on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Open House is a great opportunity for prospective students to experience the JCC campus culture first hand and get answers to any questions they may have about college. Check-in and registration will take place in the Commons, Jules Center (Building 6). Family members are welcome.

  • Jefferson Community College (JCC) has announced that it has earned the 2022-2023 Military Friendly® School designation by Viqtory, publisher of G.I. Jobs®, Military Spouse and Military Friendly®. JCC was first designated a Military Friendly® School in 2012.

  • Jefferson Community College's (JCC) Zoo Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program has been designated an academic support organization of the Association of Minority Zoo & Aquarium Professionals (AMZAP).
