Esports is quickly gaining popularity in higher education and Jefferson Community College (JCC) is proud to announce plans for the launch of its inaugural esports team, a sanction of the National College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE). Beginning in August 2022, JCC students will have the exciting opportunity to brandish their gaming skills while earning college credit for participating in a collegiate sport.

A new era has begun for the Jefferson Community College (JCC) department of athletics. On Tuesday, October 28, 2020 Jefferson launched a new branding initiative, highlighted by a new logo, 20 unique marks, a first-ever Cannoneer mascot and a custom font developed for the athletics department.
